Job Summary :

We are looking for a passionate Product Validation Engineer with strong experience in Network QA, Ethernet Switch validation, Network SDKs, and Linux-based networking platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Network SDK validation, L2/L3 protocol testing, SONiC integration, Python/PyTest automation, and AI performance validation.

The role involves developing and maintaining automated test suites, validating networking features across hardware and software platforms, debugging hardware-software integration issues, and ensuring high-quality software releases through functional, regression, performance, stress, reliability, and scalability testing.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Execute validation of Network SDK components, including HAL, SAI, Platform APIs, and Data Plane interfaces
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python and PyTest
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, stress, reliability, and scalability testing for networking software and SDK releases
  • Validate Ethernet Switch platforms, Linux SDKs, firmware, and embedded software components
  • Verify Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking features and protocols
  • Perform SONiC integration testing and end-to-end system validation
  • Execute AI performance validation and benchmarking for AI-enabled networking platforms
  • Analyze test failures and perform root-cause analysis using logs, packet captures, SDK traces, and hardware counters
  • Collaborate with SDK, ASIC, firmware, hardware, and software development teams to resolve validation issues
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test specifications, and automation scripts
  • Execute validation across multiple hardware platforms, ASICs, and software releases
  • Support CI/CD-based automated validation using Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Continuously improve test automation coverage, execution efficiency, and validation quality
  • Track defects, perform failure analysis, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain validation documentation, test reports, coverage reports, and release qualification results.

Required Qualifications :

  • 5–10 years of experience in Network QA, Networking Software Validation, Embedded Linux, or Network SDK Validation
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet switching concepts and network architectures
  • Hands-on experience validating Network SDKs, HAL, SAI, and Platform APIs
  • Strong Python programming skills with practical experience using PyTest
  • Experience testing Linux-based networking platforms
  • Good debugging and troubleshooting skills using Wireshark, packet captures, SDK traces, logs, and hardware counters
  • Experience with functional, regression, performance, stress, reliability, and scalability testing
  • Hands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols, including:
    • VLAN
    • STP / RSTP
    • LACP
    • ACL
    • QoS
    • IPv4 / IPv6
    • OSPF
    • BGP
    • VXLAN
    • Multicast
  • Experience with SONiC integration and validation is highly desirable
  • Experience with traffic-generation and network testing tools such as IXIA, Spirent, or TRex
  • Understanding of multi-ASIC platforms and hardware-software integration
  • Knowledge of CI/CD automation using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
